New Life Community Church is a testament to the goodness of God within the city of Oxnard and Ventura County. Founded in 1997, Pastors Steve and Tami Abraham and a group of 50 people met in a hotel believing that God was getting ready to begin a new work in the city. Now over 25 years later, New Life is home to a few thousand people and continues to reach Ventura County with the good news of Jesus Christ.
Throughout the years, despite a few location changes, the heart of New Life has remained the same. We strive to be not only a place where God’s presence resides but a body of believers that answers the biblical call to love God and His people. We believe we can influence and encourage our community by creating a space where people can connect to God and to each other.
We are excited for you to join us. We hope that upon your visit, you realize that you matter, not just to us, but to God!
Vision Statement:
We will build mature followers of Jesus Christ by presenting God's Word in powerful and practical ways while providing a place for people of all ages, races, and colors to encounter the presence of God, love the people of God and grow the kingdom of God.
Why We Exist:
We exist to reveal the love of Jesus Christ to all people and to equip them to share His love. This will be fulfilled by Acts 2:42-47.
Worship - The placing of Jesus Christ as the Head of all church activities.
Word - The process by which each believer grows into spiritual maturity.
Welcome - The practice of love, forgiveness, and acceptance shared by effective ministry to one another.
Witness - The presentation and proclamation of the Gospel to the whole world.
